Yesterday, we got lots of practice with tacking and jibing manoeuvres. The first jibing manoeuvre was done with the idle watch. This manoeuvre was successful, with the stern of the ship turning through the wind beautifully. Later, we attempted our first ever tacking manoeuvre. The passage from Lisbon to Agadir has been substantially calmer than the passage from Bremerhaven to Lisbon. This has allowed for more activities to be happening daily.
