I’m River! Yesterday my group wandered around Tenerife scavenging for tacos, ice cream, and black Friday deals. We had no idea it was Black Friday till after the day was up. We just thought everything was cheap here. Sadly I don’t think it will be cheap today. Nezy, Jacob, Amy, Lucas, Luca, Naryth and I all bought some cool things. Both Amy and Jacob got flip phones to match with Nezy, Lucas gathered his usual eclectic mix of strange items: a stuffed turkey hat, a fur hat and two giant red Santa boots. These purchases made us suddenly realize it’s Christmas time. It does not feel like it with all these Palm trees. Naryth bought fancy clothing: a white polo with brown sunglasses. Luca found a great taco place, and I bought some silk pyjamas that I will be wearing up in the rig. Overall it was a beautiful day, the weather was warm, the trees were green and the mountains were enormous, I would for sure come back here.
