Today was full of excitement, as students gathered for their first Watches of Semester 2 (and for our nine newcomers, their first Watches ever!) Students are beginning to settle in, the rooms are mostly unpacked, and the red seabags are being stowed away after some very long journeys. After dinner, students gathered to complete their cabin agreements, a very important step for creating a comfy and cozy living situation for all. Afterwards, students enjoyed cookies fresh from the oven, lovingly prepared by our Semester 2 students and faculty team. They played board games and enjoyed time to socialize and catch up in the Mess. Up on Watch, Rolland shared his knowledge of the night sky with his new Watch mates. It was a beautiful clear night; Jupiter was shining so brightly you could almost reach out and touch it!

Lunch: Burgers, fries, and coleslaw

Dinner: Stew and rice
