Yesterday was our last full day of shore leave before our port program today. My shore leave group took the train first thing in the morning. We rode an hour north to Sintra. We spend spent the day climbing through the forest up to Castelo dos Mouros where we learned about a piece of Portugal’s History. We spent the rest of the day picking up some last minute essentials before our voyage to Morocco. After a public transportation adventure we arrived back on the ship. When we arrived back to the Alex ll we got to meet new faces around the crew due to a switch out for the next segment on our next voyage to Morocco.
