Despite the name Cabo Verde, this place ain’t very green. However, the waters are very blue so who cares. We started the day by going off on shore leave. All of the marine bio students went to find a fish market but found nothing but vegetables. Later a bunch of the floaties ran into each other on the beach. We swam together and played volleyball for hours. At 7 all of Class Afloat met up at a Cabo Verdean restaurant. The students, staff, and crew talked and ate for hours and at the end of the night we had a talent show!
