On the morning of the 27th, everyone woke up bright and breezy for colours. People looked and definitely felt a lot more alive after the stem crew took over engine watch for the whole night so that we could get sleep. At colours, Tom announced that all idle hands would be necessary because we were going to be bracing and raising all of the sails. This was exciting news after being on engine for the past few days. Throughout the morning people moved from class to class while students on watch along with a few extra hands, braced and raised all of the sails! During a nice break at lunch, we ate vegetable soup and bread. Throughout the afternoon classes continued, watches continued and OS exams occurred. Congrats to our new OS’s: Noa, Joseph, Hennie & Mekhi !! Overall the day was good and spirits are high as we get closer and closer to Bermuda.
