Today was a very good day in Cabo Verde! Students started off with a bus tour in the mountains until we arrived at the hike starting point. Everyone was very excited to be on the beach with the beautiful sunshine. We walked on the sand for few kilometres and then got to volcanic rocks. At the end, we celebrated with a jump in the ocean. Then we went to Quintinia, a community and cultural center and learned capoeira and ate authentic Cabo verdian snack. We shared in their gardening and a meal after. It was a full but amazing day.
