Dear Friends and Family,
Today was another amazing adventure on the high seas! While this was our first day back in class (January 27th), the ship morale stayed high with fair winds, a calm ocean, and lots of sunshine. It’s safe to say there won’t be anymore sea sickness plaguing anyone in the near future. Some of the exciting highlights of the day included a delectable caramelized fruit cake, the startings of a ship sourdough bread, and some intense games of cribbage. All in all the crew is doing well on our voyage across the Caribbean Sea. Everybody is making the most of their time getting to know each other and looking forward to our homestay programs in the Dominican Republic.
