Today was watch 3s laundry day, Ezra woke up, and so did everyone else. Breakfast was pancakes, followed by Watch 5 killing it on deck. Classes came and went, as great as usual. Your English students learned about Harkness discussions, math students are all studying for unit exams, and Geography is now studying the African map. Our captain Richard is raising the standards on board by requesting a cleaner mess and more work while on watch. He also announced that Santa isn’t real, and tears were shed. Personally, my day wasn’t amazing, spending half of it in the dish pit, but tomorrow is dolphin day! Things are looking up. Nearing the halfway mark of this last long voyage, students await the sight of land to adventure in the exciting town of Cherbourg, France… and talking to their parents :))

All the best,
Zoe
