Dear Family and Friends,
Where to even start with today…? Who knew that a normal school day schedule could be so thrilling? From our speedy arrival to Cape Verde, we were greeted with an extra day at anchor, and what better to do in warm summer weather than soak up the rays and dive right into the ocean for the students first swim call of the year! We also celebrated Amelia’s birthday today, the big seventeen. Pretty much the best birthday ever, not only did we get to swim but also celebrated with a birthday cake after dinner. To top the night off, we had a little concert on the aft deck by our first mate and Kysen on the guitar. An unforgettable day on board the Alex two and excitement is up for more to come!
