Today was the last day of the parent port in Ponta Delgada. Students did a range of activities around the island. For me, I went to Parque Natural da Ribera dos Caldeirôes where we walked around and saw beautiful waterfalls and old stone structures deep in the valley. For Lunch we ate at a restaurant overlooking the ocean, and the seafood was amazing. The weather improved in the last few days, and we finally got to see the sun. The wind also calmed down, allowing the heat to stay. Overall, it was a very nice day in the Azores, and we look forward to seeing our parents next at graduation.
