Today we had our second last day of classes and a full watch before we depart the ship for the last time. As students start to think about packing up and moving on, we are reflecting on all our memories and adventures that the Alex 2 has given us over these last few months! We are preparing the ship to leave, which includes lots of rust busting, which annoys the teachers teaching classes as the sound travels down the ship. The wind changed, and we are finally able to set sail for the final time. With the Netherlands in sight, students have signal and can contact family and friends. Jacquie was proud to announce that watch 2 completed 20 loads of laundry within the hours of 8-1800. Watch 5 successfully cleaned the deck again, making it nice and shiny. Thank you to Indi’s grandma, who made us hot cross buns for Easter, which we finally ate and enjoyed as a lovely snack!
