Yesterday was a school day on board the Alex with classes running as normal. There is a buzz around the place for a number of prospective OS candidates who are busy earning signatures and learning all they will need to successfully sit their OS exam on Monday 30th – we wish them luck!
The ship has finally found some wind which has also brought with it some increased wave action. This has resulted in the ship rolling from side to side the last couple of days which has brought some entertainment to classes as students and their belongings slide across classrooms at times.
The question of the day was: ‚who would win in a faculty fight: Emma (English) or Orla (Maths)?‘ This was settled at dinner time with a boxing match between the two in the mess…who do you think won?
We are all enjoying the penultimate sail from Azores to Cherbourg, France. Everyone is trying to enjoy all aspects of ship life knowing it will not be our life anymore in the near future!
Pics included:
Fight night, Taylor Swift dance under the sails, flower dissection in Biology class.
Lunch: Chicken noodle soup
Dinner: Chicken curry
