Another very typical day on the Alex II. With the bad weather mostly gone, watches became a much easier task. A new temporary system has been created where our new OS’s can act as DSST crew for a few days. Which means no classes, no colours, and 4-hour watches. With three ranks, watch lead, AB, and OS. Some of the students of watch 5 cooked a mahi mahi they had caught a few days prior, and enjoyed a small snack, since we all know nothing stays un-eaten in the mess for long. By far the best part of the day was the Spaghetti Bolognese surprise for dinner.
