Yesterday was our first day in Havana, Cuba. We started our day with a walking tour of the city where we saw a beautiful market with an art gallery/shop, then we toured a local apartment, and ended our outing with a few hours of shore leave.

Yesterday we went to learn some local dancing and music with the School of Dance in Havana. We danced with our watches (watch duty groups), and our routines were judged. It was a lot of fun! The best part of the Port Program was that we got to learn some dance moves and music genres that many of us didn’t know about. My favorite was learning the cha cha cha. After all the dancing we had a big lunch on a rooftop patio overlooking the city.
