Dear Friends and family,
Saturday started with replenishing provisions and supplies in preparation for our Atlantic crossing. Afterwards, students enjoyed shore leave and the opportunity to explore Tenerife. Many stocked up on festive goodies and visited the local markets, and Alyssa even had the chance to meet Santa. Others took advantage of life on shore by sharing a group dinner or treating themselves to a nail appointment. Overall, everyone is feeling rested and ready for our next voyage to Praia, Cabo Verde.

Dear Family and Friends,
Yesterday we had an extra day of shore leave in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Although we had classes, students took the opportunity to do some last minute shopping for snacks to prepare for the long upcoming voyage. Watches resumed at 4 pm and the pilot joined us at 6 pm to punch off towards Las Palmas, Gran Canaria for a short fuel restock.
Big plans are getting made for our next port such as scuba diving and snorkelling. Everyone is doing well, looking forward to the crossing as we head into this holiday season.
Until next time,
Faya
