Yesterday was kind of exciting. During the night, we had a couple of helicopters fly fairly low over us. Then, around 10:00, the lookout spotted a boat drifting in the water. We watched the DSST crew as they observed the boat, called out to it, and finally deployed one of the RIBs (rigid inflatable boat) to check out the situation. They found no one on board, so after reporting the boat’s location to Maritime Rescue, we resumed course and sailed on, leaving the mystery boat behind.
