We left our desert glamp camp the way we came: by camel. While we were trekking through the desert, something rare happened: big fat drops of rain started falling. We got rained on in the Sahara! Later in the day, we stopped by a carpet-making co-operative and learned how the women of the community make carpets by hand from shorn wool to finished product.
