With waves passing 5 metres, it made for a rather rough night. The ship listed back and forth all night and several of the students found the belongings on the cabin floor â but from all accounts everyone (and all things thrown about) are fine. The students have not experienced these seas in quite some time. Many are equating it to the English Channel. Fortunately, no Bay of Biscay. Despite the lack of sleep, the students made it to colours and their class today. We continue to appreciate our two chefs, who are working in these tough conditions and putting out great meals. It should be noted that they have never run a galley on a ship, so the rough seas provide an extra challenge.
