We continue our journey to Madeira
Good Morning! As we continue our journey to Madeira, everyday surprises us with special moments. Yesterday we saw another tall ship for the first time since we departed Bremerhaven. We watched as the Eendracht transformed from a white shape on the horizon to a rocking, approaching ship. Everyone gathered on the aft deck to wave and watch this other ship as it got near. Soon we could make out figures at their bow and both ships started honking our horns as a greeting. Their ship continued sailing off behind us and we watched them as the sun set behind the waves. Seeing a fellow sail training vessel was an exciting moment and we can’t wait to see what other surprises will come our way!
