 
It was another memorable night aboard the Alex. After a full day of class, the Stamm crew dropped surprise after surprise on the floaties. First, the officers and deck crew gave us 24 hours of no standing watch starting at 18:00; thank you, Rainer, Joachim, Nacho, Sanne, Uli, Finn, Maja, Lars, Ethan and Jannik for giving us time off! Next, the chefs went all out with a three-course meal of chicken consommĂ© and cheese puff pastry, followed by a pork wellington and potatoes gratin, and capped off with a chocolate waffle with ice cream and almond brittle shaped like Stagsegels. Thank you, Thomas, Abby and Albert, for the feast, and thank you Finn, Ethan and Jannik for serving us fancy-restaurant style! After dinner, we were allowed to set up the A/V on deck to have another dance party complete with fruity mocktails. Finally, we counted down the seconds together to end 2024. What we didnât expect was for 2025 to start with a bang: 140, to be exact. Thank you, Jannik and Ethan, for the midnight fireworks extravaganza!
