This holiday just keeps on giving. There were two major events from yesterday to share: first, nine people attempted our Ordinary Seaman (OS) exams yesterday. After two hours under the tropical afternoon sun and 30 minutes in front of a panel for question period, they emerged triumphant. Congratulations to Lukas, Liv F, Linnéa, Olivia MP, Theo, Eli, Emma, Mel, and Carlotta, the newest Leichtmatrosen on the Alex-2! Second, and more importantly, floaties took over the galley for brunch and dinner. Jacinto and Alex whipped up some fluffy pancakes with a cinnamon glaze for breakfast, while Mika, Alex, AJ, Alexis, Tobi, Olivia T. and Kylie made broccoli soup, fish (thanks, Jack and co.!), tourtière, and apple crumble for dinner. Huge thanks from all of us for feeding us so much and so well!
