We returned to quiet days on the Alex yesterday. Some highlights of the day were Jurgen the bosunâs birthday (happy 72nd!) and the shortbread with fruit sauce that Abby the chef made to celebrate. Everyone is looking ahead to the coming holidays. Some of us are looking a little further ahead to the exams coming right after the holidays. Exciting times are approaching so weâll take this quiet time now to prepare ourselves for the end-of-year and end-of-semester crush.
