In the morning during colours, we got the splendid news for a swim call. This is when we get to swim off the boat. We did our chores well but in a haste to go swimming. Zodiacs were launched and set to protect us from any monster bellow. After swim call, the day went on as normal. Classes restarted and people were to free to do what they pleased as we only needed one person for anchor watch. Lunch was also a highlight: Fries and sausage. People were willing to wait in line and be late for class for those delectable fries. It was also the doctor’s birthday, so he was splashed with water and he/we all got a delicious chocolate cherry cake for snack. The anchor was raised at 7 pm so watches were on and we set off for Mindello. The winds were high and in our favor so predicted time of arrival is Dec 16 evening. Till then…
