Yesterday was around the halfway point of the crossing of the Atlantic which is exciting because we should only have around 7 days left! At 2pm we had all the sails taken down and the Zodiacs ready for our second swim call… in the middle of the Atlantic!! Yesterday was also action packed with the fact that it was NEW YEAR’S EVE!! We had a masquerade party at dinner where everyone came with masks that we’ve been making since Cabo Verde. Then we all went up on deck to learn to waltz, led by Luka. At about 10 minutes to midnight, things got exiting – the Stamm crew made us some drinks that they all brought out for new years and there was a massive party for 30 minutes. Then there was an announcement, and we pushed back the time an hour so it could all happen again!! Then we had another massive party – our most unique new years ever. – written by
